Service Description

This 3-hour interactive course explores how Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy can be used with a culturally responsive lens to support women of color experiencing trauma. Participants will learn how systemic oppression, cultural narratives, and personal trauma intersect and leave with trauma-informed strategies rooted in self-compassion, IFS, and social work values.

Cancellation Policy

Program Fees, Refunds & Cancellations All CEU training fees are clearly listed in event descriptions. Full refunds (minus processing fees, if applicable) are available for cancellations made 7 days or more before the live event. Cancellations within 6 days of the event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued within 24 hours of the event or for no-shows. For self-paced/on-demand courses, no refunds will be issued once access is granted. If a program is canceled or rescheduled by Gateway, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer to a future event. Grievance and Dispute Resolution Policy We are committed to resolving participant complaints promptly and fairly. If you have concerns related to a CE course (content, instructor, access, or certificate delivery), please: 1. Submit a written complaint to info@gatewayfamilytherapy.com. 2. You will receive acknowledgment within 5 business days. 3. Resolutions will be offered within 10 business days, which may include course credit, refunds, or other corrective actions. If the course presenter is involved in the complaint, an alternative clinical advisor or peer reviewer will assist with resolution. Attendance & Certificate Policy For live trainings, participants must attend the full session and complete the post-event evaluation to receive a certificate. For self-paced courses, certificates are issued only after the participant completes the full course, passes the post-test, and submits the evaluation. Certificates will be emailed within 7 business days of completion. Confidentiality & Participant Information Personal information (name, email, license number) is used only for course participation, documentation, and certificate delivery.
